Book Week Celebrations


Each year since 1945, the Children's Book Council of Australia has hosted Children's Book Week to honour and celebrate the work of Australian authors and illustrators. In 2014, it will be held from August 16th – 22nd. Celebrations will focus on the announcement of the Book of the Year and this year's theme, Connect to Reading ~ Reading to Connect. To celebrate Book Week this year, Dorset PS will once again hold our much loved Book Parade and our annual Book Fair, together with a new initiative, the “Connect to Reading Hour.”
