About Us...

Dorset Primary School is located on Croydon at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, in a pleasant setting with large trees and expansive lawn area.

The school comprises three main wings, incorporating seventeen classrooms, administration centre, technology centre and General Purpose room.  A free
standing canteen and garage complete the facilities.

A comprehensive sustainability program is complimented by themed gardens, such as: vegetable garden, sensory garden, peace garden, bush tucker garden, fruit trees and associated classroom gardens. Bio-diversity plantings have begun throughout the school grounds.  

Playground features include five separate adventure playgrounds, basketball and netball courts and an oval and indigenous sanctuary.

Dorset Primary School offers a supportive environment, which promotes positive self esteem and self confidence where each child's achievements are recognized and valued.

The school strives to ensure that a co-operative and safe environment is fostered where learning is a shared experience involving, children, teachers and parents.
